Visitor Code for the Long Valley Nature Park

Long Valley has rich biodiversity and is of high ecological value. The Long Valley Nature Park (LVNP) comprises three management zones, namely the Visitor Zone, Agriculture Zone and Biodiversity Zone.

The Visitor Zone showcases almost all types of habitats of the LVNP and provides supporting facilities to facilitate visitation.
Farmlands in the Agriculture Zone are rented to farmers to operate in an eco-friendly manner.
The Biodiversity Zone is the core conservation area of the LVNP. Through habitat management work, the ecological value of Long Valley is enhanced.

The Visitor Zone is designed for public visitation. Visitors are encouraged to explore nature in the Visitor Zone. To ensure that the farming operation in the Agriculture Zone and the ecology of the Biodiversity Zone are not compromised by public visitation, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department may implement suitable management measures, including closure of certain habitats and footpaths, and crowd control, as necessary.

Your cooperation is of utmost importance to enable the public to enjoy the precious natural assets at Long Valley sustainably. Please observe the following Visitor Code:
